We collect the minimum data we need to run the service, and we don’t sell it. Here’s the short version, no fluff.
What we collect
- Account: email, hashed password, language preference, balance.
- Payments: payment ID, amount, status. We don’t store crypto wallet details or blockchain data — that’s handled by our payment provider.
- Proxy usage: which ports are assigned and how much traffic has been used. We don’t log or analyse traffic content.
- Technical: request IP address, user-agent, rate-limit and error logs.
- Support: your tickets and conversations with us.
Why
- To run the service: issue proxies, track balance, prevent fraud.
- To communicate with you: email verification, password reset, notifications.
- To improve the product through aggregated analytics.
- To comply with the law on a legitimate request.
How long we keep it
- Active accounts — for as long as you use them.
- Financial records — for as long as the law requires (usually a few years).
- Security logs — up to 90 days.
- Support tickets — up to 24 months after closure.
Your rights
You can:
- request a copy of your data;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- unsubscribe from marketing emails;
- file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
To exercise these, write to privacy@proxyweb.io from the address tied to your account. We respond within 30 days, usually faster.
Security and a few notes
We use TLS, hash passwords, lock down admin access and log staff actions. No internet system is perfect — if you find a vulnerability, tell us and we’ll thank you.
The service isn’t for users under 18. If you’re a parent and noticed that a child has signed up, write to us and we’ll delete the account.
Servers and contractors may be located outside your country. Transfers use standard data-protection safeguards.
Changes
If anything changes, we’ll update this page and the date. We’ll also email you about significant changes that affect your rights.
